PLATEFUL OF PROMPTS III
In everyone’s quest to productively write, I have found prompts often spark my imagination.
Whether you are facilitating a writing group or just stymied for a story – prompts often lead us to a path of creativity and possibility. If one is working with a particular population for example, seniors, or children; they can provide just the impetus to create a dialogue with them. Prompts are a good avenue to explore for those people who may be a little reticent to open up.
Below are some prompts that might inspire you. Have fun with them!
1.You are emerging from the veil of COVID—who do you see? Where do you go?
2. You just won the lottery—How do you spend your winnings?
3. You have to give a speech for an award—Who do you thank? Who influenced you?
4. You want to go back in time—What era speaks to you?
5. You audition for a musical—Which one? Who is your costar?
