Nancy S Sims

Nancy S. Sims is the author of a short story collection, VERBAL SNACKS, the novella, THE PILLOW, and soon to be released the novel— DETOURS penned by five women authors. Excerpts of her work have been showcased at the Kravis Center and on National Public Radio in Palm Beach County.

A native of Pittsburgh,Pennsylvania she is a graduate of Chatham University. As a registered Art Therapist she received a post-graduate degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School. She has been actively involved in the fields of art therapy, real estate, and medical practice management.

As an ardent supporter of the literary arts she has had extensive experience as a book fair consultant, workshop facilitator and elementary reading tutor additionally serving on The National Jewish Book Council’s advisory council, and participating as a judge for their debut fiction prize. Her leadership positions have included: President of the Jewish Community Center of the Greater Palm Beaches, P.A., and Chair of the Palm Beach County Jewish Federation’s Community Relations Council.
